Affiliate and sponsorship disclosure
AboutSexToys is a commercial site. This page explains how the business earns money and what those relationships can—and cannot—change.
Retail sales
The business earns revenue when a product is purchased through the store's checkout flow. That commercial relationship applies whether a product appears in the broader shop or in an editorial recommendation.
Price, stock and variant availability can change after an article or review is published. A purchase is governed by the price and terms shown in checkout, not by an older editorial reference.
Affiliate links to another retailer
Some editorial pages may link to a product, service or source sold by another company. If AboutSexToys may receive a commission from that click or purchase, the page or link is identified as commercial or affiliate. The customer does not pay a higher price merely because a link is affiliate, though the other retailer controls its own prices and terms.
Gifted products and samples
A product supplied without charge is labeled as gifted when that fact is relevant to the coverage. Providing a sample does not guarantee publication, inclusion in a collection, a minimum score or a positive conclusion. Brands do not receive the right to approve the review before it appears.
Sponsored content and paid placements
Paid editorial or promotional work must be clearly marked at the beginning of the page or placement. A sponsorship label should be understandable without opening a separate policy. Sponsored content does not enter Abigail's scored rankings as an undisclosed editorial pick.
What commercial relationships do not control
Revenue does not buy an Abigail's Pick, a score, a position in a ranking or the removal of a supported criticism. The same published review criteria apply regardless of brand, price, sample status or margin. Where the store and editorial interests overlap, the relationship is disclosed and the limitation still belongs in the review.
Our editorial standards explain how product facts, reviews, corrections and automated drafting tools are handled.
