These terms and conditions ("Terms") apply to aboutsextoys.com and the services offered by AboutSexToys ("AboutSexToys," "we," "us" or "our"). By accessing or using the site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site or proceed to checkout.

Agreement and adult eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and at least the age of majority where you live to use the site or buy a product. By continuing, you confirm that you meet those requirements, can enter a binding contract and may lawfully view and purchase the products in your location. The age confirmation is not identity verification and does not replace your responsibility to follow local law.

If you use the site for another person or organization, you confirm you have authority to accept these Terms for them. Products are offered for personal, lawful use and not for unauthorized resale or export.

The storefront, seller and checkout

AboutSexToys provides the storefront, product curation, educational content, saved-product tools and a path to checkout. The catalog and bag use Shopify commerce services. When you select checkout, the chosen product and variant information is securely handed to the AdultShopping checkout service.

Before payment, checkout identifies the seller of record, available payment methods, taxes, delivery charges, billing descriptor and any additional transaction terms. The seller's checkout, privacy, shipping and return terms apply to the purchase in addition to these site-use Terms. If there is a conflict about payment, fulfillment or an order, the transaction terms shown at checkout control to the extent permitted by law.

Products, prices, orders and payment

Product information and availability

We aim to keep titles, descriptions, specifications, images, stock and prices accurate. Product records can change, and colors or scale may appear differently on a screen. Review the current product page, variant selection and checkout summary before paying. If a material error affects an order, customer care will explain the available correction, replacement or refund.

Availability is not guaranteed. Adding a product to the bag, wishlist or comparison list does not reserve it, lock its price or create an order. We may set reasonable purchase limits and may withdraw a product from sale.

Prices, discounts and tax

Prices are shown in the displayed currency and may change before an order is placed. A compare-at price is a reference price supplied for the product; the current selling price is the amount shown in checkout. Applicable tax, delivery charges and other required fees are calculated and displayed before payment. A promotion may have additional stated eligibility, duration or redemption terms.

Placing and accepting an order

Submitting payment is an offer to buy the products in the checkout summary. An automated order-received message confirms receipt, not necessarily acceptance. The seller accepts the order when dispatch is confirmed or when checkout expressly says acceptance occurs.

Before acceptance, an order may be declined or canceled for reasons such as unavailable stock, an obvious price or product error, an address that cannot be served, failed payment, suspected fraud, purchase-limit misuse or a legal restriction. If payment has been taken for a canceled item, it will be refunded to the original payment method. No materially different substitute will be sent without your agreement.

If an order cannot ship within the time stated at purchase—or, where applicable, the time required by law—the seller will provide the legally required delay, cancellation and refund options.

Payment authorization

You authorize the payment provider to charge the total shown and confirm that you are entitled to use the selected payment method. The payment provider may perform fraud, authorization or identity checks under its own terms and privacy notice. A temporary bank authorization is not always a completed charge; timing depends on the payment provider and financial institution.

Shipping, delivery, returns and refunds

Available delivery services, charges and estimates are shown after the address is entered in checkout. Estimates are not guaranteed delivery appointments. Verify the recipient, unit number, postcode and contact information before paying. Address changes cannot be guaranteed after fulfillment begins.

Our shipping and discreet-packaging page explains packaging, tracking and delivery problems. If a delay occurs, any mandatory cancellation or refund rights continue to apply.

Our returns policy explains eligibility, non-returnable products, how to request a return and the remedies available. Eligible non-defective returns receive store credit only, up to $250, and the customer pays return shipping. Approved damaged or defective items may be replaced, credited or refunded to the original payment method, with a return label provided when shipping is required. Nothing in these Terms excludes a mandatory right that cannot lawfully be waived, including rights relating to faulty, unsafe or misdescribed goods.

US orders returned to sender as undeliverable as addressed, unclaimed or refused are subject to a 20% returns-processing fee, and the original shipping charge is not refunded. Reshipping a returned order to a corrected address costs an additional $10 for shipping and handling.

Product use, education and reviews

Safe and intended use

Read and follow the manufacturer's current instructions, warnings, cleaning guidance, storage directions, water-resistance limits, lubricant compatibility and charging advice. Inspect a product before each use. Stop using it if it is damaged, develops a sharp edge, exposes an electrical part, behaves unexpectedly or causes pain, injury or persistent irritation. Keep products and packaging away from children and anyone unable to use them safely.

Sensation, fit and tolerance vary. A product description, finder result, score or review cannot guarantee a particular experience or establish that a product is medically suitable for you.

Educational and editorial content

Guides, comparisons, reviews and product suggestions provide general information, not individualized medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. They do not create a clinician- patient relationship. Read our medical and educational disclaimerand editorial standards for the scope, review basis and correction process.

Commercial relationships and gifted or sponsored products are handled as described in our affiliate and sponsorship disclosure. A recommendation reflects the review basis stated on the page and does not promise that every product was physically tested unless the review says so.

Saved products and acceptable site use

Bag, wishlist and comparison list

AboutSexToys does not currently require a customer account. Bag, wishlist and comparison information may be stored in the current browser. It may not follow you to another device and can disappear if site data is cleared or a commerce session expires. Someone using the same browser profile may be able to see those choices.

Prohibited conduct

You may not use the site to:

• break a law, infringe another person's rights or facilitate unlawful conduct;
• misrepresent your age, identity, authority or payment authorization;
• interfere with security, access controls, checkout, availability or another person's use of the site;
• introduce malicious code, attempt unauthorized access, probe for vulnerabilities or overload the service;
• scrape, copy or use site content or product data at scale except as allowed by law or with written permission; or
• use automated systems to manipulate price, stock, reviews, rankings or purchases.

We may restrict or suspend access reasonably necessary to protect the site, customers, providers or legal rights.

Intellectual property

The site design, original text, reviews, scoring, graphics, logos, organization and code are owned by or licensed to AboutSexToys and protected by applicable intellectual-property law. You may use the site for personal, non-commercial shopping and reading. These Terms do not transfer ownership or permit republication, commercial exploitation, removal of rights notices or creation of a competing database. Product and brand names remain the property of their respective owners.

Third-party services and links

Checkout, payment, delivery tracking, social networks, brand instructions and other links may be operated by third parties. We do not control their availability, security, content or later changes. Review the terms and privacy notice presented by the service before giving it information.

Service availability and legal limitations

No guarantee of uninterrupted access

We may maintain, update, correct or discontinue a feature or page. To the extent permitted by law, the site is provided on an “as available” basis without a promise that access will always be uninterrupted or error-free. This does not limit a specific product warranty, order commitment or consumer right expressly provided by law or in checkout.

Limits of responsibility

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AboutSexToys is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising only from use of the informational site or an inability to access it. Any direct liability arising from site use will be limited to the amount paid for the affected service or product, unless a greater remedy is required by law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud, willful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence where that limitation is prohibited, or mandatory rights concerning unsafe, faulty or misdescribed goods. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so a limitation applies only to the extent lawful where you live.

Disputes and mandatory consumer protections

Contact hello@aboutsextoys.com first so we can try to resolve an order or site issue. These Terms do not prevent you from contacting a consumer-protection or data-protection authority, using a legally available dispute process, or bringing a claim in a court that has jurisdiction. The governing-law and venue terms identified by the seller at checkout apply to the purchase, without depriving you of mandatory protections that apply where you live.

Changes, severability and entire agreement

We may update these Terms for future use of the site. The “Last updated” date identifies the latest revision. A material change will not retroactively alter an accepted order unless the law permits and the affected customer agrees where required.

If part of these Terms is found unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the extent necessary and the remaining terms will continue. A delay in enforcing a term is not a waiver. These Terms, together with the policies they link to and the transaction terms shown at checkout, form the agreement relevant to the site and order.
