What makes something beginner-friendly

Three things, mostly: intuitive controls you can find without looking, a shape that works at more than one angle, and a material that forgives inexperience with cleaning.

Everything on my beginner list has a low starting intensity. Being able to start gently matters more than a high ceiling.

How I test

I use each product across at least two weeks, note charge life, noise at maximum, and how the material feels after several cleaning cycles. Products that arrive as gifts are labelled as such.
